I really enjoy the freshly cooked food, and the service Gabe provides. It seems the team works well together

I am addicted to Gangum Style wings. I seek them out all over the USA but this is the store that introduced me to them. Best wings in existence IMO:) Will go there straight from the airport this evening before I head south to Kingston:) Keep up the great work. You guys rock

I really enjoyed this meal. The wings are done when ordering, crispy and very juice. The location is clean and their customer service is perfect, very patient with my friends and I who have never been at this spot. My friend and I got different flavors so we can share . 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area.

Great service and food, love that they take the time to explain the menu or whatever you're going to order at that time, patience @100% Love the setting, very welcoming and clean surroundings and would recommend it

I've got a new go-to place for fried chicken. In my opinion, Korean fried chicken is second to none. According to some online posts, the frying method renders out the fat in the skin. I don't know if that's accurate. I thought the skin was removed. I'll have to ask the staff next time. I do know that it was super crispy and delish. It's served with pickled turnip. BB.Q Chicken is a Korean chain that's branched out internationally. I got the golden fried chicken which is basic, but there are many different flavors including spicy and some that are slightly sweet. I saw one customer review that said now "you can feel famous" eating Korean fried chicken. That's because fried chicken is always featured in K-dramas. The spicy rice cakes with fish cakes are also sometimes featured in the shows. I ordered some. Rice cakes are popular Asian cuisine, but they're a bit heavy and very filling. I couldn't finish the order. It was too large. I liked the staff. They were friendly and helpful. The place was busy even after 2pm. I placed my order online. When I got there I still had a 10 minute wait. It seems a lot of lunch orders were placed around 2pm by customers who appeared to be mostly college or post-college age. The fried chicken was worth the wait. The restaurant is small, clean, cute and modern. There are some tables for those who want to eat-in, but it seems most of the orders were for take out. I can't wait to come back to try some of the spicy fried chicken. I think it was called Gangnam chicken.

First had this in Ktown and would go back to get it whenever I was in the city so I was really excited when it opened in Albany! The only dedicated Korean fried chicken restaurant in the area. Many flavors to choose from and I've tried about half, but my favorites are still the Golden Original and Secret Sauce. The Gold Original has a crunch, taste, and breading texture that are different from the rest. Secret Sauce is sweet and tangy and saucy. Haven't actually dined in at this location, but it's decently spacious inside. Wait is about 20min once you order.

One of my favorite spots to come eat in central avenue. Whenever I crave some fried chicken, this is the place to go! It's a small store on the side of the road, parking is usually fairly easy to find. It's not usually busy inside as most people order takeout so they grab the food and leave. You walk up to the counter and order your food. They make Korean style fried chicken where they mix different types of Korean sauce with the chicken. But if you just want classic fried chicken with no sauce, they have that option too and sauce or not, it's still really good. I tried the half and half where they give you half classic fried chicken and other half with their secret sauce. Both of them were really good. It was crispy, full of flavor, and juicy. It took about 15 mins to get the food and took us 15 mins to finish everything. They also serve boneless chicken and ramen. I personally didn't try those yet but I might in the future and let everyone knows how those are.

I love Korean fried chicken, so this spot was an easy choice during our trip to Albany. My husband and I shared: - Maple Crunch Boneless Wings - Mala Hot Wings - Rose Ddeok-Bokki The wings were fried perfectly. I recommend going with the traditional wings over the boneless wings, but that's just my personal preference. The maple crunch wasn't quite as saucy as I prefer, but it was still good. The mala hot was very spicy, but very good. I probably wouldn't get the Ddeok-Bokki again. It was ok, but I've had better versions of this dish elsewhere. If you've never had Korean Fried Chicken, you should definitely try it! You'll never want another kind of wing again.

Albany finally got a Korean fried chicken joint!! I've been to BBQ chicken in the Boston area and was excited to see it pop up here. We ordered the soy garlic wings and secret spicy wings as well as fries, coleslaw, and radish. I'm definitely partial to soy garlic no matter where I go and I thought these were delicious and crispy. I didn't really like the secret spicy (not spicy and have a strange aftertaste) but my bf preferred them. Honestly their sides were not the best I've had, but nothing to complain about either. Fries were hot and fresh. Definitely satisfied my craving for Korean fried chicken, fries, and pickled white radishes. We had a small amount of leftovers and they were still good after heating up a bit in the toaster oven the next day. Wish I had an air fryer... I would recommend not ordering on grubhub because the fees are insane. We called to pick up our order and the guy working there was very friendly and our order was waiting for us on time (took about 20 minutes).
